The AS7712‐32X is a cost-effective switch design meticulously crafted for Leaf/Top of Rack deployments, facilitating seamless 10G/25G/40G/50G server connectivity and delivering 100Gb uplinks to the distribution/Spine layer of the network. With thirty-two QSFP28 ports, each capable of various modes of operation, including 4x10Gb/4x25G with break-out cables, 2x50G with break-out cables, 40G with standard QSFP+ optics/DAC cables, and 100G with QSFP28 optics/DAC cables, this switch offers unparalleled versatility.

The AS7712‐32X boasts a PHY-Less design, directly connecting QSFP28 connections to the Serdes interfaces of the Broadcom BCM56960 switching silicon, resulting in exceptional cost-effectiveness, low latency, and power efficiency. Furthermore, the AS7712‐32X includes standard Top of Rack / Spine switch features, such as redundant field replaceable power supply and fan units, and it supports "Front to Back" or "Back to Front" airflow direction. The switch is equipped with a modular CPU card, offering the flexibility to tailor CPU and memory configurations to specific requirements. With its compact 1RU design, the AS7712‐32X is compatible with both standard 19” rack deployments and standard 21” Open Rack deployments.
