The AS7712‐32X embodies a meticulously optimized switch design tailored for Leaf/Top of Rack deployments, catering to 10G/25G/40G/50G server connectivity and facilitating blazing-fast 100Gb uplinks to the distribution/Spine layer of the network. With a generous array of thirty-two QSFP28 ports, each versatile enough to operate in different modes, such as 4x10Gb/4x25G with break out cables, 2x50G with break out cables, 40G with standard QSFP+ optics/DAC cables, and 100G with QSFP28 optics/DAC cables, this switch is a pinnacle of versatility.

The AS7712‐32X boasts a cutting-edge PHY-Less design, seamlessly connecting the QSFP28 connections to the Serdes interfaces of the Broadcom BCM56960 switching silicon, which in turn ensures unmatched cost-effectiveness, low latency, and power efficiency. Equipped with essential Top of Rack / Spine switch features, including redundant field replaceable power supply and fan units, the switch allows for "Front to Back" or "Back to Front" air flow direction. The icing on the cake is the support for a modular CPU card, offering unmatched flexibility to tailor CPU and memory configurations according to individual needs. In a compact 1RU design, the AS7712‐32X effortlessly adapts to standard 19” rack deployments as well as standard 21” Open Rack deployments.
