The Product Category Rule Project for Datacenter Equipment (PCRP) is a semi-private (CLA) Workstream under the OCP Sustainability Project. It is listed among OCP’s Semi-Private Workstreams as “Product Category Rule Project for Datacenter Equipment (PCRP).”

The OCP Sustainability Project works to enable the data center industry’s progress toward net-carbon-zero goals by addressing the unique challenges and opportunities within the Open Compute Project ecosystem. It led the introduction of Sustainability as OCP’s fifth tenet and offers an open framework and resources for vendors, suppliers, and end users to deploy industry best practices that promote reusability and circularity.

Semi-private workstreams consist of “Contributor” organizations — OCP members that have signed a Contribution License Agreement (CLA) — collaborating to jointly develop a specification. Organizations interested in participating and providing feedback can request to join through the OCP Semi-Private Workstreams form; if the contributors have mutual interest, OCP staff will connect you to get your organization involved. Your organization must be an OCP member in order to sign the OCP Feedback Agreement.
