*The 2027 OCP Canada Tech Day brings together keynotes, technical tracks, demonstrations, and networking across its main program day (Tuesday June 15), with a brief reception held the evening before (Monday, June 14).

OCP Canada Tech Day will bring together Canadian technical and business leadership, along with the OCP Community, to discuss and share progress and ideas important to advancing AI data centers, hybrid classical and quantum data centers and extending AI from data center to the user. OCP Canada Tech Day is intended to showcase the latest innovations and technical advancements from around the world. Featuring talks from experts who are researching and designing the next generation of AI data center facilities, physical and IT infrastructure in the morning, followed by four afternoon breakout sessions covering: 

  1. Responsibly deploying next generation open AI/HPC clusters
  2. Open ecosystems for hardware platforms delivering AI near the user
  3. Photonics and Interconnects for AI Clusters
  4. Integrating quantum infrastructure into classical data centers

About OCP Canada Tech Day

The OCP Canada Tech Day is a focused, engineering-driven gathering designed to accelerate open data center innovation across Canada’s rapidly expanding cloud, Al, and digital infrastructure ecosystem. Hosted in Toronto – a global hub for Al research, advanced manufacturing, and sustainable data center engineering-the event brings together hyper-scalers, telecom operators, hardware manufacturers, solution providers, and academic researchers to advance adoption of OCP-recognized technologies.

Building on the momentum of previous Canada Tech Day programs, the 2027 edition will convene technical leaders for a concentrated day of keynote updates, deep-dive breakout sessions, hands-on demonstrations, and community-driven collaboration.

Companies such as Bell Canada, Microsoft, Schneider Electric, Celestica, Ranovus, Lightmatter, Denvr Dataworks, and hyperscale cloud teams have contributed to OCP-related discussions and deployments in the region.
