The aim of this workshop is a technical deep dive on D2D PHYs to help PHY developers and customers objectively analyze D2D PHYs across vendors and standards. The workshop agenda will cover standards; D2D PHY IP; Optical D2D; D2D application; PHY customer panel. The workshop will also feature a discussion session to aim to develop a common set of metrics (and a corresponding measurement / reporting methodology) to characterize D2D PHYs.

Important information about accessing the campusSecurity measures are enforced by the NASA Office of Protective Services (OPS) at the NASA NRP entrance gates. In order to gain entry to the NRP (and therefore, the campus), NASA Office of Protective Services requires a valid U.S. federal- or state-issued photo ID or a valid passport and visa at the entrance gate. When asked the reason for your visit, tell the officer you are “attending a meeting at CMU.” Individuals from North Korea, Sudan, Syria and Iran are currently prohibited by the NASA Office of Protective Services from accessing the NRP (including the campus). |
Parking
Parking is available in CMU-SV’s parking lot behind Building 23. No permits or fees required.
Uber and Lyft
Uber and Lyft drivers should be made aware that they will be required to show a valid drivers license to enter the NASA Ames Research Park.
Public Transportation
It is approximately a 10 minute bus ride from the Mountain View Transit Center (Caltrain and VTA Light Rail Station) to CMU-SV. Take VTA Bus 51 to Moffett Field, which runs approximately every 30 minutes. When arriving by public transportation you must still have a valid U.S. federal- or state-issued photo ID or a valid passport and visa to enter the NASA Ames Research Park.
