Arm Neoverse Compute Subsystems (CSS) are designed to help Arm partner deliver the latest Neoverse technology to market more quickly, with less risk, and with more customer-defined differentiation than they could do so previously.
Neoverse CSS represents a set of Arm IP – Neoverse CPUs, Core Mesh Network (CMN), and other interconnect and control elements – that are configured, verified, validated, and PPA-optimized by Arm engineers. Neoverse CSS includes memory, I/O, and die- to-die interfaces that are configurable based on use case.
Neoverse CSS are designed to enable chiplet-based, custom silicon solutions, with support for AMBA CHI C2C enabling multi-chiplet and heterogeneous acceleration integration. The Arm Total Design partner ecosystem of silicon development experts was established to help customers bring Neoverse CSS custom silicon designs to market. Microsoft Azure Cobalt 100 is an example of a high-performance CPU developed using Neoverse CSS N2.
