Power and fiber cable pathways into the exterior building envelope are common applications for purpose-designed seals.
Without properly engineered solutions, these pathways become an ingress point for water, resulting is a risk of damaging equipment or increasing humidity levels. In addition to sealing against water, these applications often need to meet fire requirements to reinstate the fire integrity of the structure. Roxtec seals meet these requirements while allowing future cable changes.
The Roxtec GH frame with pre-drilled holes and standard sized flange is bolted to even structures. It makes it possible to maximize the number of cables/pipes while minimizing the pathway footprint. The rectangular steel frame can be used with a GE extension frame in galvanized steel to cover the depth of a thick wall/floor.
