Afternoon Breakout Sessions

Open Systems for AI Clusters

Timeline for session - 3.5 hours

Abstract: AI is transforming the landscape of IT infrastructure, driving unprecedented growth in computational requirements and innovation across data center technologies. As AI workloads continue to accelerate, potentially doubling every six months, the demand for scalable, efficient and interoperable systems has never been greater. The OCP Community, through its Open Systems for AI initiative, is pioneering an open, collaborative approach to meet these challenges. This track explores how OCP's modular designs, open standards and community-driven projects are shaping the future of AI infrastructure. This track equips technical leaders with strategies to plan, design, deploy, operate and optimize high-performance AI clusters with open systems.

Responsibly Deploying Open Hardware and Software for Edge Computing

Timeline for session - 3.5 hours

Abstract: The increasing complexity and demand of high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) applications, has created a critical need for transformative innovations at the edge for inference. No doubt, mobile communications based on 3GPP- compliant network infrastructure will be an important part of the edge technology landscape. The challenge is to develop solutions that are not only innovative in computing and communication technology as well as design but also pragmatic to address many new market segments including Private networks and public macro 5G networks.
