OCP, AITA, CIAT and the IOWN Global Forum to Co-Host OCP APA Summit
Open Compute Project Foundation (OCP), the nonprofit international organization bringing at-scale innovations and hyperscale best practices to all, today announced a collaboration with the AI on Chip Taiwan Alliance (AITA), the Cloud Computing & IoT Association in Taiwan (CIAT), and the IOWN Global Forum to jointly host the 2026 OCP APAC Summit, strengthening regional collaboration on open, scalable, and next-generation digital infrastructure across the Asia-Pacific region.

The 2026 OCP APAC Summit, themed “Leading the future of AI,” will convene hyperscalers, cloud service providers, telecom operators, system and silicon vendors, and research institutions from across APAC. The Summit will focus on translating open innovation into real-world, deployable solutions that support the growing demands of high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) applications, while highlighting the region’s expanding role in the global technology ecosystem.
Aligned with the Summit theme, the program will highlight key technology areas shaping next-generation infrastructure, including (1) chiplet technology and associated advanced packaging, (2) subsystems such as cooling and power distribution, networking and storage, server architectures, and optical communication networks, (3) Open data center facilities needed to host 1MW+ racks, and (4) systems management delivering large scale AI clusters. These focus areas reflect the industry’s need to rethink data center architectures and supply chains as infrastructure density and performance requirements continue to increase.
Through this collaboration, OCP and its co-hosts – AITA, CIAT, and the IOWN Global Forum – combine complementary strengths to help organizations plan together, learn from real deployments, and work as one ecosystem. The Summit will provide a clear path from concept to production, speeding the region’s move toward open, scalable, and sustainable digital infrastructure.
Additional details regarding the 2026 OCP APAC Summit will be announced in the coming months.
