The UfiSpace 100G disaggregated core and edge router, also known as the S9700-53DX, is designed to using the Distributed Disaggregated Chassis architecture to enable fast and flexible capacity scaling at the core and edge networks.
The S9700-53DX provides 40 x 100G service interfacing ports with breakout availability. To form DDC clusters for up to 192Tbs switching capcity, the S9700-53DX has 13 x 400G fabric interfacing ports which are used.for connecting with the S9705-48D to form a DDC cluster. The S9700-53DX can also function as a standalone device, which utilizes the Broadcom J2 chip and provides up to 4.8Tb switching capcacity.
As a standalone, the S9700-53DX is highly capable of being positioned in the edge network with 8GB deep buffering and 2000Mpps packet throughput. Furthermore, it is equipped with Broadcom’s KBP (or TCAM) to perform up to 16 parallel searches to reach decision speeds of multiple billion decisions per second.
