These signals are ingeniously multiplexed into a single channel, delivering seamless 200Gb/s (PAM4) optical transmission. Equally impressive, on the receiver side, the module skillfully de-multiplexes a 200Gb/s (PAM4) input into 4 CWDM channel signals, generating 4-channel output electrical data.
Central wavelengths of the 4 CWDM channels—1271, 1291, 1311, and 1331 nm—align seamlessly with the CWDM wavelength grid specified in ITU-T G.694.2. The module boasts a duplex LC connector for the optical interface and a 38-pin connector for the electrical interface. Leveraging single-mode fiber (SMF) effectively minimizes optical dispersion, ensuring optimal performance in long-haul systems. Host FEC (Forward Error Correction) is an essential feature supporting up to 2km fiber transmission.
