This bundle features the Edgecore DCS510 (AS9716-32D), a high-performance spine switch designed for cloud and data center environments. It includes 2x AC Power Supply Units (PSUs) and supports both B – Back-to-Front and F – Front-to-Back airflow configurations, ensuring optimal cooling for continuous operation.
The DCS510 delivers line-rate L2 and L3 switching across its 32 QSFP-DD ports, supporting configurations of 1x 400G, 1 x 100G, or breakout options for 4 x 100G or 4x 25. This adaptability allows deployment as a spine switch supporting 100 / 400G interconnects, ensuring flexibility for evolving network requirements.
Equipped with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), the DCS510 allows seamless installation of compatible NOS, including both open-source and commercial offerings, providing users with flexibility and choice for their network infrastructure.
Pre-loaded with Enterprise Base SONiC, the switch enhances its capabilities with robust, scalable networking features and customizable options to meet specific data center demands.
Enterprise SONiC Distribution, included with the switch, provides key underlay features such as eBGP, ZTP, programmatic API, QoS, and ACL for data center fabric underlay, as well as overlay features like BGP EVPN and VXLAN for fabric overlay. Additionally, it supports RPVST+ and IP Multicast, alongside telemetry features like BST Thresholds and Snapshots, making it ideal for high-demand applications like virtualization, cloud, IoT, and AI.
