Description:

The move to optical interconnects including Co-packaged Optics for scaling AI clusters is inevitable, it is a matter of when, not if. There are many system level issues with in-rack optical cabling and designing pull-out compute trays and cooling to be overcome that are often overlooked. In addition, obtaining a high level of reliability and efficient operations are critical especially with long AI training runs. The webinar will cover the challenges with building at scale optical-based AI Clusters leveraging the learnings from Broadcom’s and Micas’ building a 128x400G CPO system.

During the webinar, you’ll learn:

  • AI accelerating the need for large scale AI clusters with CPO and Optical Interconnects
  • System level challenges with hitting reliability and performance targets
  • Innovative designs for building AI clusters with CPO
  • Role of liquid cooling in at scale CPO-based AI clusters
  • CPO system level qualification requirements
  • Industry and market trends on expected rollout of CPO and Optical AI Clusters
  • Key factors for a successful CPO deployment (e.g. system level assembly, rack level cabling, etc)

Who should attend?

Data Center IT and Physical Infrastructure Vendors, Silicon Vendors, Colocation, Cloud and Telecom Service Providers, IT buyers and Decision Makers, and Enterprise CIO and CTO
