Flex Secure Control Module SCM203A – DC-SCM 2.2 Type 1 Compact

The Flex SCM203A is a Compact Form Factor (CFF) secure control module built to the OCP DC-SCM 2.2 specification. Server designers get full BMC functionality without giving up valuable board space. It runs on Aspeed’s AST2700 BMC with built-in LTPI and supports Caliptra secure boot. The board comes with 2GB of DDR5 memory and 3 pairs of redundant flash storage.
On the security side, the DC-SCM uses a Microchip TS1800 Root of Trust and an Infineon SLB9672 TPM 2.0 controller to meet the NSA’s CNSA 2.0 requirements and is ready for post-quantum cryptography algorithms including ML-DSA, LMS and ML-KEM .
Flex offers an OpenBMC software stack as the accompanying default management software on this module with the option to qualify additional management software stacks. Memory, flash, and other components can also be tailored to your platform. The optional I/O extension (on the same board or to front I/O via FFC cable), provides ports for external USB-C UART and 1GbE network connection.
