Precision Time Synchronization over Wireless- Workstream #7

Back to Time Appliances Project's wiki

The aim of this project is to develop a wireless precision time synchronization solution that can be implemented in data centers to enhance availability, precision, and resilience of the time sync. The workstream will explore the feasibility of wireless two-way time and frequency comparison over existing wireless communication standards such as Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Bluetooth, LoRa, among others.

The goal is to transform any wireless communication device into a precision synchronization device that meets the demand for more precise and resilient synchronization in data centers.

Objectives

To make precision time available to devices through diverse wireless communication channel The project includes:

- Wi-Wi on SDR
- Wi-Wi on Wi-Fi
