Project Overview

The OCP Device Manage repository is located at Device Manager repository.

The Device Manager manages platform which conform to the OCP Baseline profile. Device Manager obtains platform details from plaform nodes and periodically collects data. Device-Manager also registers for specific Redfish events from the node, like alerts, removal/insertion.

Device Manager publishes data onto the Kafka bus. An user-application can listen on kafka bus and make the data available on a user dashboard. Device Manager exposes a gRPC interface for direct access from an user-application.

An overview presentation of the Device Manager architecture and usage can be found at link
