Running on OCP: Episode 14 - Sardinia Systems & Vesper

In the latest results of an independent market impact assessment of OCP adoption, conducted by Omdia, part of Informa, one of the most critical barriers to adoption was software compatibility. Our OCP Solution Providers have been working to address this challenge by validating key enterprise level software on OCP hardware.

In this week’s episode of Running on OCP, we profile an OCP Solution Provider, Vesper, who has worked with Sardina Systems, a cloud-automation software solution built on OpenStack and Kubernetes, to deliver turnkey infrastructure for traditional enterprise workloads.

Kenneth Tan, Executive Director for Sardina Systems, and Philip Kaye, Director for Vesper, join me to discuss how enterprises could use the combination of open source software and open source hardware to drive efficiencies and zero-downtime upgrades. We also highlight the ease of use and availability of Sardina Systems FishOS on OCP within Vesper's OCP lab in Manchester, UK.
