OCP has launched a new software feature functionality that will allow visitors to the OCP Marketplace to view the various software stacks supported on OCP Accepted™ and OCP Inspired™ hardware platforms. This new feature will allow visitors to the OCP Marketplace to make more informed buying decisions. The OCP Foundation hopes that this feature will further illustrate our commitment to software solutions in addition to the variety of open sourced hardware solutions.
With the addition of this new feature, a visitor to the OCP Marketplace (https://www.opencompute.org/products) will see a new category called “Software”, listed on the left hand side of the component tree area of the website.
Based on the above picture, if a user selects the “Server” and a “Software” category, then all the software supported on a particular server platform will be displayed.
If a user selects the “Network” category, then all the network software supported on a particular switch platform will be displayed.
A user can also perform searches for a particular software stack supported on a hardware platform.
