We currently use the Lattice MackX03 series devices on our motherboards that is used to interface to our BMC and other glue logic on our card. I do not believe this device can handle differential outputs nor the signaling speed of the LPTI interface. This device series can support the I2C buses and other management support we have needed in the past and is ok for DC-SCM as long as the LPTI interface is not used. Using LPTI looks to increase our costs, but if we already have enough I2C/UART and other pins available, using LPTI may not be needed when one DC-SCM card supports only one motherboard.
